Ownership of Content

All content on this website and within the ACE Training Portal is the property of the Association for Character Education (ACE). This includes videos, training materials, documents, PDFs, booklets, frameworks, guidance, online resources and all written content.

All content is protected by copyright. You must not copy, reproduce, share, upload, distribute or republish any ACE content without written permission.

Content accessed through your membership is for your organisation’s internal use only.

Membership Access

Access to the Training Portal and member resources is restricted to active members. Each staff member must register using their organisation email address.

Sharing login details or granting access to individuals outside your organisation is not permitted. ACE may revoke access if these terms are breached.

Use of Resources and Videos

ACE resources are for professional use within your school or organisation.

You may:

• Download content for internal use
• Share content inside your organisation
• Use resources for staff development and training

You may not:

• Re-upload ACE materials elsewhere
• Share materials publicly or outside your organisation
• Modify and redistribute content
• Use ACE resources commercially

User Tracking and Analytics

ACE tracks user activity within the Dashboard and Training Portal in order to improve the platform, understand how resources are used, develop support, monitor engagement and detect misuse.

This includes anonymised analytics covering downloads, video views, navigation patterns and resource usage.

Heatmaps and Behaviour Analysis

We use Microsoft Clarity to record anonymised user interactions such as clicks, scrolling and navigation patterns. This helps us understand how staff engage with the portal and where improvements are needed.

No personal data is captured during this process.

Retargeting and Marketing

ACE may use Google Ads, Google Analytics or similar tools to show relevant adverts to users who have previously visited our website. This retargeting uses cookies but does not identify you personally.

Data Protection

ACE complies with UK GDPR. We only use your information for legitimate organisational purposes such as membership management, communication, marketing and platform improvements.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

Membership Payments and Renewal

Membership access is granted once payment is initiated or received. Access will be suspended if membership lapses or is not renewed.

Platform Availability

ACE aims to provide continuous access to the platform, though occasional downtime may occur for maintenance or updates.

Breach of Terms

If these terms are breached, ACE may take actions including:

• Suspending or revoking access
• Blocking accounts
• Requesting removal of redistributed materials
• Pursuing legal action in cases of copyright infringement

Changes to These Terms

ACE may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of any updates.
