Following years of research, trial and the implementation we feel this award accurately reflects that we use all levels of leadership, curriculum and teaching and learning to actively develop our students’ character. We feel our character provision allows our students to enjoy their learning, respect each other and achieve to their highest ability both in and outside of the classroom, in line with our academy trust’s (BET) guiding principles.  The Kitemark plus assessment process highlighted our TAACA (Teacher Assessed Achievement Characteristic Averages) use to assess students as a unique and thorough way of focusing on and developing students character strengths.
